Any form of art, craft or sport that is essentially repetitive requires a search for perfection in execution. However, each repetition of an action, a process or an activity often experiences minimal variations.
These variations move more or less away from an ideal execution, from the perfect repetition that mentally guides the performer. But as you get closer to perfect execution, it becomes more and more distant and becomes a chimera.
Let me repeat myself presents an endless search for a possible perfection of execution, where the action is always varied, but a model for an exemplary execution does not exist or does not appear.
